BACK TO BLOGGING

The Ford Craptour is starting to crap out on us lately. It's not too bad and probably still has a lot of life left, but today I pulled down the drivers side visor and it came flying off. I just tossed it in the back seat and proceeded to drive with my hand in front of my face to block the sun. The other issue about the Craptour lately is that the only time you can get any heat or air conditioning is when you are stopped. As soon as you start driving again, the air/heat comes out from the defrost vents and you can't feel anything. Well, it still gets me to where I need to be and that's all that matters for now.

I finally called about my MRI last week as it was getting a little ridiculous that I didn't hear anything. They told me that the doctor has been out of town for 3 weeks and wouldn't be back until today. Well...I'm just glad that there wasn't anything seriously wrong with me that I needed to have my results quickly. Geez. So, the doctor finally called today and told me the results. Basically she told me that I have some fluid in my ankle joint, signs of possible bruise or stress fracture in my 5th metatarsal and my heel. Again, this MRI was almost 4 weeks ago now. Within those 4 weeks I have been running and have even had a couple of 8 mile runs with no pain! I'm thinking that everything is pretty much healed since I don't have much pain anymore, but I'm seeing a foot specialist (ortho, not a podiatrist) on Wednesday just to make sure (once again). I'll be so happy when I don't have to see anymore foot doctors!

One of the boys in my kids tri-training class at the Hills won his 4th consecutive Geography Bee. I thought that was pretty impressive so I wanted to share it with everyone. I also thought it was funny that when I asked the boy where the Geography Bee was held...he had no idea. Priceless.
